The Junior Associate prepares meeting agendas and briefings, maintains meeting notes, and arranges for implementation of action items. Maintains a task list of requests, and updates based on progress and communicates regularly on those advancements. Responsibilities include:
- Manage zoning, entitlement, and permitting activities
- Perform underwriting process, including analysis of market information, operational expense data, and estimated hard and soft costs
- Supports and/or administers projects or processes for division/department.
- Review and analyze engineering and architectural construction plans and contract documents
- Assist with the development of budgets and timelines for the various stages of acquisition and development.
- Coordinate with project consultants during the due diligence process including architects, engineers, appraisers, market analysts, surveyors, title companies, etc. as necessary
- Ability to lead and guide the production of documents, contracts and presentations.
- Collaborate with various teams to execute the company directives, while balancing multiple organizational priorities in our fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in Real Estate, Finance, or Investments with relevant real estate development experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture
- 3 years related professional experience.
- Knowledge of commercial real estate, hospitality, residential & mixed-use
- Advances proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiar with Revit
- Experience working on project teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong design skills in all phases of work and production
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Handle confidential information meticulously; escalate any required information with discretion.
